Hmm...I would say that for the first year it was a wonderful job. It was a lot of fun and it really helped me get out and meet people. It forced me to ditch some of my shy tendencies, which was great for me. I think my main mistake was taking the job over the summer and jumping right back to the fall. I haven't had a real break from it since last August, so I guess it's understandable that I'm burnt out. Despite all that, I would say go for it. It's a great experience, and looks really good on your resume. I guess you could send her on over and point out some of my entries to get some info that the housing folks aren't going to tell you up front (vomit in the hallway, for one!) Hope she has a lot of patience and a good temper! If she's anything like you, I'm sure she'd be good at it.
