2-3 weeks? That's insane! As for Wise Brown, I did a little searching and came up with a couple of possibilities. Is it Awakened by the Moon? I'd really be interested to know some more about her. We have reference book of biographies of children's authors (my husband wrote some of the entries), but it doesn't offer much on her personal life -- probably because it seems to be aimed at children writing book reports.

Thanks for the tip--I'll buy it today. Yeah, the secret admirer thing is definitely potentially creepy--I thought someone would have taken credit for it by now. The "wrong door" theory is definitely gaining ground with me.

What is it with mini golf and scary bunnies? Are bunnies the official mascot of the sport? My favorite locale for mini golf: http://www.splotchy.com/bhutch.html

She said she might erase it. She and a friend were walking back to the friend's car after closing time at the Empty Bottle and found a dead body lying in the street next to the car. A young guy had been hit by a car involved in a high speed chase. It turned out to be someone she knew tangentially. It's too bad she erased it as it was beautifully written.
