Thanks for the recommendation. I can't believe I don't know that one, as I have at least a dozen other folkways disks lying around the house. We're huge Ralph Covert fans in this house. Strangely, we were introduced to him by my brother in Israel. He gave AJ a CD for a birthday a couple of years ago and we were surprised when we heard a reference to the Old Town School. We subsequently purchased a couple of others. Another good one is Dane Zanes (formerly of the Del Fuegos). His CDs are pretty mellow, not much like the Del Fuego sound, but folky and great.

oh yes. I'll keep up the diary. Never disappoint my audience, even if I can count them all on my fingers.

I'm sure your niece's version was a more accurate account of where the moon was shining. Still, a worthy addition to the genre that seems to fall under the rubric of "Gladly, the cross-eyed bear" or "'Scuse me while I kiss this guy."

If it weren't for the fact that I'm not quite prepared to get a bikini wax quite yet, I'd be running around without my pants on too.

"The comedy, part of NBC's fall schedule, makes comedic kibble out of Siegfried and Roy, their stage act and the notion that their animals lead routine domestic lives with a touch of Vegas kitsch." ... Hmmm... I'll "definitely" have to "catch" this one...

The other side is awkward too- it's strange being the only one still in school at a party full of people talking about mortgages and pregnancies. And renting cars, which I still can't do. Yet, Dan gets carded at bars and I don't. Go figure.

I see the stay creative guy is making the rounds again. I have the same problem with Claritin. I find that the jitteriness problem goes away after a few days. I also only take the 12 hour version and take bendryl at night and that keeps me fairly functional. On the other hand, the house is not nearly as clean...
