Your entries have managed to crack my foul mood and make me laugh several times today. Thanks for that. And a big thumbs up on the hair. Very fancy.

Ha! One of my good friends is a nanny, and one of her charges told her, "Your butt is bigger than the sun!" Oh, kids. They say the darndest things.

Your car picture has inspired me to take my camera the next time I go running. There's a park near here where there are a couple of 1950s era cars (one is a Packard, the other's a bit too far gone to tell) parked at the bottom of a ravine in the middle of a forest. How they got there is inexplicable. They, too, have trees growing out of them.

Ooh, yes. What a lovely white suit Reba has made. Is it too late for you to wear that suit instead of a dress at your wedding?

Wow--I wonder which came first, the Steel Magnolias or the armadillo cake business? Also, a much-delayed thanks for the librarian link. Very enjoyable. :)

I just wish the snow dump had been on a weekday so I could have stayed home from work.

First of all, a belated thanks for your comments on the great preschool debate. It's a tough problem. Second, as for delinquent RSVPs, we had a family member volunteer to follow up with the delinquents for us. It was fantastic, as she was able to do it with much more grace and less irritation than we would have done. In the end, everyone was accounted for within a very short period of time. If you've got anyone who's willing, it was extremely helpful and also made this person feel useful and kept her from driving us crazy with other details. Third, AJ thinks the sign means "Happy Apples Ahead!" He's very fond of signs.
